HEALTH & SAFETY UPDATES

The Virginia Conference UMC has returned most COVID-related decision-making to local churches. Over the coming weeks and months, our Church Council will continue making plans to resume the wide variety of ministries we support, while developing new ways for us to connect in-person and online.
We are happy to share that most of our worship restrictions have now been lifted:
• In keeping with guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and the Virginia Conference, face coverings are now optional for fully vaccinated persons.
• Seating capacity limits have been removed, and pews in our sanctuary are no longer roped off.
• We no longer ask people to register in advance for worship services or record contact information at the entrance.
• We ask everyone to self-screen for health concerns. Please look at the health poster at the entrance when you arrive. If you are sick, please stay home and worship with us online.
• While we recommend that households or "bubbles" continue to practice social distancing during worship and other gatherings, we are no longer directing where people sit.
In addition to in-person services at 9:45 and 11:00 each Sunday morning, Online Worship will continue to premiere at 11:00 on Facebook and 11:15 on YouTube.
